2012, they say, is the year when the world ends. Movies have been made to describe this disaster that is supposedly according to the Mayan prediction. Did the Mayans predict the end of the physical world or could it have meant the online world?

Because an attack to freedom of expression and creativity cannot only be considered an attack to the citizens of a country where such a bill is passed… An attack to freedom of expression is an attack to all the world. No one should be given that much power to curb it.

The beauty of the internet is that it is open, free for all (not the
connection though) and knows no boundaries. The unspoken wonder of the
web is that it is run by a lot of volunteers who has taught us how to share.
That it is used for piracy and by people who do not know
self-regulation is another issue. Knowledge should not be restricted.
Information should flow. And all of us, netizens and otherwise, have the
responsibility to protect that liberty. #
